Bebe Nanaki Girls University college, Fattudhinga has been established in year 2019 keeping
in view the importance of girls education in rural areas. It has been observed that the
girls are deprived of basic
education in the villages and parents are not willing to send their wards to far away places
so that they can attain some position in the society.
So keeping in view this fact and in the celebration of 550th birth anniversary of Shri Guru
Nanak Dev Ji joint efforts have been made by the Punjab Government and Guru Nanak Dev
University, Amritsar to establish a new constituent college in the village Fattudhinga,
Sultanpur Lodhi.
The girls shall be groomed in such a manner that they will be able to stand shoulder by
shoulder as compared to men in the society after attaining the education from this college.
Education will not be limited to academic development only but will focus on social and
personal well being.
The college with its state of the art infrastructure, well-equipped laboratories, library
and dedicated faculty is a boon for this area The college will run various courses such as
B.A., B.Sc. (Non-Medical) ,
B.Sc (Medical), B.Com, B.C.A. and B.Voc (Fashion Designing) etc.
With the earnest efforts of the competent faculty, the students will accomplish their
academic goals with persistence and will be self-reliant to cope up with the pressures of
the modern times. The college
has immense potential and a promising future.
